Prior to this role, Gideon spent the last 11 years working within the Immunology Therapeutic Area in different medical affairs positions educating, communicating scientific information and working on multiple projects with a variety of stakeholders in the rheumatology, dermatology and gastroenterology space.
Stefan Braam brings Ncardia over a decade of experience in stem cell technology, product development and general management. Before the appointment as CEO of Ncardia, Stefan was the CEO of Pluriomics. As co-founder and key inventor of Pluriomics technologies he has been instrumental in the establishment and growth of the company.
Roel Bulthuis is a Managing Director and head of the Healthcare investment team at INKEF Capital. Roel combines close to 20 years of experience across venture capital, pharma business development and M&A and healthcare investment banking. Roel is a Kauffman Fellow and passionate about continuously challenging the status quo. Roel holds a Msc. in Biopharmaceutical Sciences from Leiden University and an MBA in Finance from the Helsinki School of Economics
Sandra joined the KBC Securities Biotech/Healthcare team in 2017 as an equity analyst covering Belgian, Dutch and French life sciences companies. She holds a Master in Biochemistry (KUL) and worked for 10 years as an academic scientist (PhD, post-doc) in several life sciences fields, as well as joining an immuno-oncology spin-off (iTeos; UCL & LICR). Sandra is an author of 18 scientific publications, an inventor on several patents and recently completed an MBA from Vlerick Management School.
Cosmin is the Innovation Activation Manager for JLABS @ BE in Beerse, Belgium. In this role, he leads engagement activations for Johnson & Johnson Innovation, JLABS across Benelux and supports the broader EMEA region’s marketing, events and communications. Cosmin manages coordination of high-quality, diverse and distinctive programming ranging from one-on-one investor meetings, workshops to large panel series, networking, community and social events that serve JLABS and the broader EMEA entrepreneurial ecosystem.
As co-managing director and co-founder of MIMETAS, Paul closed deals with most top-10 pharma companies, secured series A and B investment rounds and enabled mass production & global marketing of OrganoPlates. Before founding MIMETAS, Paul worked for the high-tech company Silicon Biosystems in Bologna, the Institute for Microsystems Engineering (IMTEK) at the University of Freiburg and the Leiden Academic Centre for Drug Research, Leiden University.
